![]() ![]() Go back inside the puzzle pick up the third jammer, and jam the second disabled gate from the INSIDE to make that jammer redundant. Go back to the entrance and use the two jammers to disable the two energy gates along the left side of the puzzle that are nearby one another. ![]() Bring the jammer back to the main area and drop it for now. Using the narrow window inside, throw off the synchronicity of the two mines within this hallway. Now go into the puzzle, pick up the jammer and walk through the recently disabled gate. Go back to the first jammer and disable the energy gate slightly to the right of the jammer within the puzzle. Now walk into the puzzle and pick up the keys. Next, pick up the other entry jammer and position it on the other elevated platform and disable the energy gate protecting the keys. Once that is done, target the energy gate slightly to the left of the jammer within the puzzle itself. See the two mines on the far right patrolling synchronously? Disable one of the mines until they become fairly distant apart. First, pick up the jammer located on the elevated platform near the entrance. ![]() MESSENGER HINT: The central jammer can go with you.Īlright, this puzzle will require some tricky juggling of three different jammers, with two of them being blocked at the front end of the puzzle by the purple gate. Connect them now and collect the yellow Sigil on the other side. If you positioned connector C correctly, you should get LoS to both connector C and the red receiver. With connector B in hand, continue through the puzzle until you come to another hallway with a receiver. You should now be able to pick up connector B without shutting down the gate. Staying as close to the open energy gate as possible, target the receiver and connector A through the window. When you have an opening, go into the small room and pick up connector C and leave again. If done correctly, you should have a few second window to enter the gate before a beam blocker stops the transmission. Connect it to connector A and the receiver for the energy gate. Down the beam blocker hallway, take a left to pick up connector B. Target the transmitter and place the connector such that it lines up with the right-hand wall, while also having a good LoS through the narrow window and energy gate beyond. DLC sometimes feels like a nostalgic throwback to the Internet of 90s, I really enjoyed that aspect too. When you come to the first connector (A), pick it up and bring it close to the right-hand wall of the beam blocker hallway. Music and visuals are calming and peaceful. Some optional puzzles are impossible to solve by yourself, but I don't think that should stop you from playing in our Internet age. There are only a few tools at your disposal, but the puzzle designers really got everything possible out of these few tools, in the ways I couldn't imagine. Oh, by the way, the puzzles are great too. However, the game lead me to some answers for myself. A lot of questions are raised here, with not many answers (what did you expect?). Often I don't have patience to read philosophical texts, but here it just works - you read a little, go solve a puzzle, and think about what you just read in the meantime. I don't know how they did this, but that existential lore seems to be perfectly curated and broken up into digestible chunks. It's just like in the real world - we run around doing chores / making money / achieving goals that have nothing to do with who we are or what our purpose is but that's just how our life is. At first glance, this seems like a weird combination, but it all starts to make sense and fit together after a while. In this game, you are running around solving puzzles and reading a lot of lore about existential philosophy. if either of the above is not true, you must avoid it (the game has a potential to trigger an existential crisis, and the gameplay is nothing but puzzles). if you ever had an existential crisis AND if you like puzzles, you absolutely must play it. There is a very simple way to determine whether you should play this game: Having said that, it's definitely not for everyone. This game is now one of my favorites (if not THE favorite). ![]()
